Cupping Notes: Toasted Almonds, Buttery Mouthfeel, Sweet Finish
This Organic Haitian Blue Mountain Coffee comes from a small co-op in Haiti's Nord region. Each cup has a creamy mellow body, medium complexity, and prominent nutty flavors like toasted almonds. You'll love the buttery mouthfeel, low acidity, and sweet finish. Not just any coffee, this is truly one amazing and flawless cup of organic coffee bliss.
MEET THE FARMER: Nestled in the mountains just south of Cap Haitian, this is the oldest running cooperative in all of Haiti. COOPACVOD has over 850 members and workers that produce the only organically certified, arabica blue mountain coffee in all of Haiti. This co-op strictly grows Organic and shade grown coffee. The co-op's President, Francis Dubois, found a way to use local river water to power the plant and recycle the water to put back into their rivers. Not only has the co-op found a way to sustain the local water sources, but it has created sustainable employment for many citizens of Haiti.
